One firm for your books, your taxes and your financial strategy
We’re in the business of helping your business. Bookkeeping, tax, controller services and fractional CFO expertise — handled by one team that knows your numbers and answers when you call.

Learn more →The Duban team model
Most firms hand you a person. We hand you a team. Every engagement pairs a dedicated bookkeeper with a controller who reviews their work — because even a good bookkeeper should have a second set of expert eyes on the numbers.
A bookkeeper working alone, without a controller’s oversight, is how cash-flow inaccuracies slip through, how fraud risk grows and how coverage gaps appear the week someone takes vacation. The review is not an upsell. It’s how we work.
Only 15% of candidates make our cut
Before anyone touches your books, they have to pass the Duban Skills Test — an assessment of multi-industry experience, communication style, QuickBooks acumen and general accounting prowess.
Only 15% of candidates pass, and every one of them already holds a QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification and an accounting degree. The certificate gets a candidate an interview. The skills test decides whether they’re good enough for your business.
Tax and CFO expertise under the same roof
Clean books are the foundation — but they’re only worth what you do with them. Because our tax advisors and fractional CFO work alongside the same team that keeps your records, your tax planning starts with numbers we already trust, and your forecasts are built on the close we just delivered.
That means no re-explaining your business to a new vendor, no chasing three firms for one answer, and nothing falling through the cracks between them.
What you get when it all lives together.
Your bookkeeper, controller, tax advisor and CFO all work from the same books — so nobody is reconciling two versions of the truth.
A controller signs off on the close, so the statements you make decisions from have already been checked.
When the people doing your taxes see your books every month, planning happens in real time — not in a scramble at filing season.
Forecasts, budgets and cash-flow plans built on a close we produced ourselves and stand behind.
A team means someone always knows your account — through vacations, busy season and growth.
We serve growing businesses across the country, coast to coast and beyond.
Working with us, answered.
How are engagements priced?
As a flat monthly engagement, quoted after a consultation. Pricing depends on the services you need, your transaction volume, the number of accounts and entities involved, and how current your records are today. You’ll know exactly what it costs before we start — no hourly surprises.
Can I use just one service, or do I have to take all four?
Just one is completely normal. Plenty of clients start with bookkeeping, or with tax, and never need anything else. Others add controller oversight or CFO guidance later as they grow. You take what you need, when you need it.
Do you replace my in-house team, or work with them?
Either. Some clients hand us the whole back office; others have internal staff and bring us in for the pieces they’re missing — a controller’s review, tax expertise, or extra capacity. We work alongside internal teams, outside CPAs and vendors just as smoothly as we run the function ourselves.
How fast can we start?
Usually right after the consultation. We’ll confirm scope, quote your monthly engagement and match you with your team. If your books need catch-up or cleanup first, that’s where we begin — bringing everything current before settling into a monthly rhythm.
What if we’re not the right fit?
We’ll tell you. If your situation calls for something we don’t do, we’ll point you toward a resource better suited to help rather than take on work we shouldn’t.
